Albany Medical College's Department of Urology seeks a fellowship-trained Pediatric Urologist to join the region's only Children's Hospital and an academic, multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient pediatric urologic care at the Bernard & Millie Duker Children's Hospital.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with board certification or eligibility in Urology.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited urology residency.
• Fellowship training in pediatric urology.
• Eligible for medical licensure in New York State.
• Academic rank open based on experience and qualifications.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Commitment to teaching, mentoring, and advancing the field of pediatric urology.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and management of a broad range of pediatric urologic conditions.
• Deliver care in outpatient clinics, inpatient consult services, and the operating room.
• Perform in-office procedures and hospital-based surgical procedures.
• Collaborate closely with pediatric surgery, pediatrics, anesthesia, nursing, and APP colleagues.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and interdisciplinary care models.
• Engage in teaching activities consistent with an academic practice.
