Job summary

Albany Medical College's Department of Urology seeks a fellowship-trained Pediatric Urologist to join our pediatric surgical team at the region's only Children’s Hospital. The role combines clinical care with academic activity and strong APP support.

Provide inpatient and outpatient pediatric urologic care, including office procedures and operative care at the Bernard & Millie Duker Children’s Hospital, in a collaborative academic environment with access to research resources.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent qualification in Urology.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited urology residency.
• Fellowship training in pediatric urology.
• Eligible for New York State medical licensure.
• Academic rank open (Assistant/Associate/Professor) based on experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad range of pediatric urologic conditions.
• Deliver care in outpatient clinics, inpatient consults, and the OR.
• Perform in-office and hospital-based surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with pediatric surgery, pediatrics, anesthesia, nursing, and APPs.
• Engage in quality improvement and interdisciplinary care models.
• Contribute to teaching activities within an academic practice.
