Job summary

The Department of Urology at Albany Medical College is seeking a fellowship-trained Pediatric Urologist to join our growing pediatric surgical team at the region's only Children's Hospital. The successful candidate will provide inpatient and outpatient pediatric urology care, including office-based procedures and operative care at the Bernard & Millie Duker Children's Hospital, with strong APP support.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with board certification or eligibility in Urology.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited urology residency.
• Fellowship training in pediatric urology.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and management of a broad range of pediatric urologic conditions.
• Deliver care in outpatient clinics, inpatient consult services, and the operating room.
• Perform in-office procedures and hospital-based surgical procedures.
• Collaborate closely with pediatric surgery, pediatrics, anesthesia, nursing, and APP colleagues.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and interdisciplinary care models.
• Engage in teaching activities consistent with an academic practice, as appropriate.
