Albany Medical College’s Department of Urology is seeking a fellowship-trained Pediatric Urologist to join our growing pediatric surgical team within the region’s only Children’s Hospital. The role combines inpatient and outpatient care and office-based procedures at the Bernard & Duker Children's Hospital, supported by a scholarly academic environment.

Qualifications

• MD/DO with board certification or eligibility in Urology.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited urology residency.
• Fellowship training in pediatric urology.
• Eligible for medical licensure in New York State.
• Academic rank open based on experience.
• Strong communication and collaborative approach to patient care.
• Commitment to teaching and advancing pediatric urology.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and management of a broad range of pediatric urologic conditions.
• Deliver care in outpatient clinics, inpatient consult services, and operating room.
• Perform in-office procedures and hospital-based surgery.
• Collaborate with pediatric surgery, pediatrics, anesthesia, nursing, and APP colleagues.
• Participate in quality improvement and interdisciplinary care models.
• Engage in teaching activities consistent with an academic practice.
