Children’s National Hospital is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider in Urology to provide evidence-based care, develop detailed plans of care, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team. Qualifications

• Master’s Degree Nurse Practitioner
• Master’s or Doctoral degree as a Nurse Practitioner from an accredited program and eligibility for medical staff credentialing required.
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in the clinical specialty area in which they practice from an accredited program and eligibility for medical staff credentialing required.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, diagnoses, and monitors clinical status of each patient utilizing evidence-based practice and medical knowledge.
• Develop appropriate plan of care.
• Writes patient care orders, prescribes therapy, and provides necessary home care orders as needed.
• Identifies significant changes in patient status using exam data, labs, and tests.
• Collaborates with nursing, medicine, and other team members to ensure quality patient care.
