Job summary

Albany Medical College in New York seeks a fellowship-trained Pediatric Urologist to join our pediatric surgical team at the region's only Children's Hospital. The role blends inpatient/outpatient care with opportunities for teaching and research in a multidisciplinary academic setting.

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive pediatric urologic care, including office-based procedures and operative work, with strong APP support and a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent with board certification or eligibility in Urology.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited urology residency.
• Fellowship training in pediatric urology.
• Eligible for medical licensure in New York State.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation, diagnosis, and management of a broad range of pediatric urologic conditions.
• Deliver care in outpatient clinics, inpatient consult services, and the operating room.
• Perform in-office procedures and hospital-based surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with pediatric surgery, pediatrics, anesthesia, nursing, and APP colleagues.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and interdisciplinary care models.
• Engage in teaching activities consistent with an academic practice.
