Job summary

PM Pediatric Care in the United States seeks a Registered Nurse to support pediatric urgent care services and primary patient care within the physician's supervision. You will work with families, physicians, and staff to deliver efficient, high-quality care.

The role requires pediatric nursing experience, an active RN license (state or compact), BLS, and the ability to perform venipuncture, IV placement, and med administration.

Qualifications

• Pediatric experience required; Pediatric ER, hospital unit, or urgent care experience preferred.
• Active state RN license or compact state licensure.
• Competency with nursing procedures (IV placement, catheterization, medication administration).
• Current BLS is required; PALS recommended.
• Knowledge of pediatric medicine, clinic processes, and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative support for providers, patients, and office operations.
• Obtain medical history, vital signs, intake, and prioritize patient care.
• Perform procedures (venipuncture, IV insertion, catheterization) and assist physician with total patient care.
• Maintain knowledge of pediatric pharmacology.
• Assist in maintaining safe, clean exam rooms and sterilization practices.
• Support quality control in the lab and office operations.
• Assist physician with patient care during imaging and procedures as needed.
• Ensure HIPAA-compliant handling of patient information.
• Respond to emergencies and notify physicians promptly.
