Job summary

PM Pediatrics is seeking a Registered Nurse for our pediatric urgent care setting. The role supports providers and office operations, taking medical history, vital signs, and assisting with patient care within the physician's supervision. You will maintain safety, HIPAA compliance, and contribute to a team-focused environment.

Qualified candidates have pediatric nursing experience, active RN licensure, BLS (PALS preferred), and the ability to work efficiently in high-flow urgent care.

Qualifications

• Pediatric experience required; Pediatric ER, Pediatric hospital unit, or Pediatrics Urgent Care Experience preferred.
• Active state nursing license or active compact state licensure from the state you reside.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) recommended.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative support for providers, patients, and office operations
• Obtain medical history, patient vital signs, intake, and prioritize patient care
• Perform procedures (venipuncture, IV insertion, urinary straight cath), administer medications (oral, rectal, IM, and IV), and assist the physician with total patient care within the scope of practice
• Remain knowledgeable in pediatric pharmacology and assist in patient care within the scope of practice
• Maintain exam rooms stocked with supplies, prep sterilization tools and equipment
