Job summary

PM Pediatric Care is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver pediatric urgent care in a fast-paced setting. You will provide clinical and administrative support, take medical histories and vital signs, and assist physicians with patient care under supervision.

Emphasis on safety, confidentiality, and teamwork across the care team. Responsibilities include performing venipuncture, IV insertion, medication administration (oral, rectal, IM, IV), and supporting lab quality checks.

Qualifications

• Pediatric nursing experience required; pediatric ER/urgent care experience preferred.
• Active nursing license or compact state licensure.
• Experience with nursing procedures (IV placement, urinary catheterization, medication administration).
• Current BLS required; PALS recommended.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative support for providers, patients, and office operations.
• Obtain patient history, vital signs, intake and prioritize care.
• Perform procedures (venipuncture, IV insertion, catheterization), administer medications, assist physician within scope.
• Maintain knowledge of pediatric pharmacology and contribute to patient care team.
• Keep exam rooms stocked and equipment sterilized; ensure safety and HIPAA compliance.
