Job summary

Nemours Children's Health is seeking an Urgent Care Physician for our expanding Urgent Care Network in Glenn Mills, Pennsylvania. This role requires working weekend days and weekday nights, and offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree and medical licensure.
• Two to Three years of experience, preferably in a Pediatric Urgent Care or Pediatric Emergency Department.
• Board certification/eligibility in Pediatrics or Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
• Current unrestricted Pennsylvania/Delaware medical licensure and DEA (PA, DE).

Responsibilities

• Administer or order diagnostic tests (x-ray, EKG, labs).
• Record and review patient medical data and history.
• Interpret test results for deviations from normal.
• Perform procedures (injections, suturing, wound care, wound management).
• Make provisional diagnoses and treatment decisions.
• Prescribe therapy or medications.
• Instruct patients on prescribed regimens and health maintenance.
