Job summary

Nemours Children's Health is seeking an Urgent Care Physician to join our expanding Urgent Care Network, serving both Glen Mills, PA and North Wilmington, DE locations. The role includes travel and regular coverage at both sites, with a schedule that comprises weekday evenings, weekends, and holidays.

MD or DO required, board-eligible in Pediatrics or Pediatric Emergency Medicine, and licensure in Delaware and Pennsylvania.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree.
• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatrics or Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
• Two to three years of clinical experience preferred, ideally in Pediatric Urgent Care or Pediatric Emergency Department.
• Eligible for licensure in Delaware and Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Administer or order diagnostic tests and interpret results.
• Record patient medical data and health history.
• Develop treatment plans based on test results.
• Perform procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and fracture care.
• Make provisional diagnoses and clinical management decisions.
• Prescribe medications and therapies as appropriate.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health maintenance.
