The work schedule is flexible, with no overnight shifts, and roles range from 12 to 36 hours per week, accommodating both part-time and full-time preferences.

Description

PM Pediatric Care is hiring Advanced Practice Providers with pediatric experience to join our team. Under the guidance of the Regional Medical Officer, APPs evaluate and provide evidence-based treatment to pediatric patients in urgent care settings.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assess and treat acute injuries and illnesses for both in-person and telemedicine patients, including management of febrile infants/children, infections, abdominal pain, anaphylaxis, procedural anxiolysis, respiratory distress, croup, and asthma.
• Perform procedural care such as abscess drainage, foreign body removal, and laceration repair with sutures, staples, or dermal adhesives.
• Take radiographs and provide preliminary x-ray interpretations, with official radiology over-reads where applicable. Training will be provided.
• Oversee patient flow and daily operations in both in-person and telemedicine settings, including supervision of staff and trainees.
• Follow policies and procedures to maintain operations and report needed changes to management.
• Coordinate with onsite and telemedicine teams to ensure completion of daily tasks such as lab and radiology result review, patient follow-up, and timely responses to patient inquiries, while maintaining a safe and compliant environment.
• Ensure patient confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Participate in ongoing education and training to update knowledge and skills.
• Assist with patient complaints and contribute to service recovery efforts.
• Focus on improving efficiency, antibiotic stewardship, and patient experience metrics.

• Active RN and NP/PA licenses in relevant states.
• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies.
• Effective verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
