WellStreet Urgent Care in McDonough, GA, is seeking a Pediatric Advanced Practice Provider (P-NP/NP-PA) with 5+ years of pediatric clinical experience to join our urgent care network. The role focuses on high-quality care for patients aged 0–26 and requires travel to other centers as needed.

The position emphasizes pediatric-oriented evaluation, procedures, documentation, and collaboration with center physicians to maintain throughput and compassionate service. BLS and PALS are required.

Formación

• Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (P-NP) or Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) with 5+ years of pediatric clinical experience required.
• Active medical license in state of practice or ability to obtain.
• Experience with procedures including suturing and drainage of abscesses.
• Experience with reading diagnostic studies including X-rays and EKGs.
• BLS and PALS certification required.
• Meets eligibility requirements for credentialing set forth by WellStreet Urgent Care.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, families and other team members.
• Required to travel to other WellStreet Urgent Care centers as needed to support business needs.

Responsabilidades

• Plans, evaluates, and implements high quality medical care for ages 0–26 in pediatric focus with center physicians.
• Delivers high standard of patient satisfaction in line with WellStreet policies.
• Performs procedures such as suturing, incision and drainage, and splinting as appropriate for pediatric patients.
• Maintains proper documentation and communicates effectively to facilitate patient care and reimbursement.
• Participates in meetings and activities to support urgent care operations.
• Maintains required certifications and trainings (BLS, PALS) and pursues ongoing professional development.
