Job summary

PM Pediatric Care is hiring Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) with substantial pediatric or urgent care/ER experience to join our team. Under the guidance of local clinical leaders, APPs evaluate and provide evidence-based treatment to pediatric patients in person and via telemedicine.

Qualifications

• Pediatric experience required; ER/urgent care/pediatrics preferred.
• Active ANCC Board Certification or NCCPA Certification.
• Active RN license where applicable and NP/PA license for treating patients.
• MS in Nursing or Doctoral in Nursing or Master of Physician Assistant Studies.
• Minimum 2 years of independent pediatric APP experience or 1 year in urgent care.
• Ability to think critically, multitask, and work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent computer skills and EMR experience with eCW preferred.
• Effective verbal and nonverbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat pediatric patients in urgent care.
• Provide evidence-based treatment for acute injuries and illnesses.
• Perform common urgent care procedures.
• Interpret radiographs with radiologist over-reads.
• Oversee daily operations and patient flow.
• Ensure policies, HIPAA compliance, and patient safety.
• Collaborate with on-site and telemedicine teams.
• Contribute to service recovery and patient satisfaction.
• Aim to improve efficiency and antibiotic stewardship.
