Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and prior Medical Assistant experience; pediatric experience and EMR proficiency are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior experience and/or education as a Medical Assistant.
• Knowledge of pediatric care processes is preferred.
• Ability to obtain labs via nasal swab and venipuncture.
• Comfortable with computers and basic software.
• Experience with medical records is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative support for providers, patients, and office operations.
• Greet and register patients as they arrive.
• Obtain medical history, vital signs, and intake.
• Prepare patients for X-rays.
• Perform and document routine labs; venipuncture experience preferred.
• Irrigate and assist with wounds.
• Assist in quality control testing in the lab.
• Maintain exam rooms and front reception stocked with supplies.
• Ensure waiting room remains clean and organized.
• Respond to emergencies and notify medical team as needed.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and follow policies.
