The role requires a high school diploma or GED and prior Medical Assistant experience, with pediatric knowledge, strong communication, and multi-tasking skills.

Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of pediatric EKG placement.
• Laboratory tests via nasal swab and venipuncture.
• Professional and friendly demeanor.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Aufgaben

• Provide clinical and administrative support for providers, patients, and office operations.
• Greet and register patients as they arrive.
• Obtain medical history, patient vital signs, and intake.
• Prepare patients for X-rays.
• Perform and document routine labs, such as throat and urine cultures.
• Irrigate and assist with wounds.
• Assist in quality control testing in the lab.
• Maintain exam rooms and front reception.
• Protect patient confidentiality and follow safety practices.
• Assist in emergencies and notify medical team as needed.
