Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior medical assistant experience or education preferred.
• Knowledge of EKG placement in children helpful.

• Professional and friendly demeanor essential.
• Strong communication and organization skills.
• Prior pediatric experience preferred.
• Comfort with multi-tasking in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience with medical records is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and administrative support for providers and patients.
• Greet and register patients, obtain medical history and vitals.
• Prepare patients for X-rays and assist with routine labs.
• Assist with wound care and quality control testing in the lab.
• Support patient care under physician supervision.
• Maintain exam rooms and waiting areas, ensure supplies.
• Respond to emergencies and notify medical team as needed.
• Protect patient confidentiality and follow policies.
• Help with patient complaints and service recovery.
• Assist nurses/providers in other procedures as needed.
