Job summary

Qualifications

• Pediatric experience required; ER, General Pediatrics, or Urgent Care preferred.
• ANCC Board Certification or NCCPA Certification.
• Active RN and NP/PA state license for treating patients.
• MSN/Doctoral degree in Nursing or MSN/PA degree required.
• Minimum 2 years independent pediatric APP experience or 1 year in urgent care or emergency.
• Ability to think critically, multitask, and work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficient computer skills with EMR; eCW experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat acute pediatric injuries and illnesses for in-person and telemedicine visits.
• Perform urgent care procedures and manage radiographs with radiologist support when applicable.
• Oversee patient flow and coordinate with staff and trainees on shift.
• Ensure compliance with policies and HIPAA; maintain patient confidentiality.
• Support service recovery and improve in-person and telemedicine flow.
