Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) for its pediatric Urgent Care Centers in Georgia. The part-time (20 hours/week) position at the Cherokee location involves providing comprehensive pediatric care, histories and exams, and collaboration with supervising physicians.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pediatric care within a collaborative practice model
• Perform histories and physical exams for children
• Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests
• Develop pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical treatment plans
• Educate patients and families
• Coordinate referrals to other providers and services
• Collaborate with physicians and other health care professionals
