Job summary

PM Pediatric Care is seeking Advanced Practice Providers with pediatric experience to join our urgent care team. Under the guidance of the Regional Medical Officer, APPs evaluate and treat pediatric patients in an urgent care setting, including telemedicine where applicable.

The role requires board certification and an active RN/NP/PA licensure for each state treated, with a strong commitment to evidence-based care in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Pediatric experience required; Pediatric ER, Pediatric Hospitalist, or Pediatrics Urgent Care Experience preferred.
• Active ANCC Board Certification or NCCPA Certification is required/active.
• Active RN (if applicable) and NP/PA state license for each state where treating patients.
• MSN/Doctoral in Nursing or PA studies required to practice in pediatric urgent care.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat acute injury and illness for pediatric patients in urgent care (in-person and telemedicine).
• Take radiographs and provide preliminary interpretations with radiology reads where applicable.
• Oversee patient flow and supervision of staff and trainees on shift.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient confidentiality and safe clinical operations.
• Focus on efficiency metrics to improve urgent care throughput and patient experience.
