Job summary

NYU Langone Health is seeking a Hospital Concierge for the KP 8 Acute Pediatric Unit on the Day Shift (35 Hours). This role supports patient care activities by maintaining records, supplies, and the environment, coordinating with unit staff and departments, and communicating clearly with health care teams, patients, families and visitors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Evidence of excellent interpersonal skills and effective communication.
• Experience with clerical tasks and patient-facing roles is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greeting and check-in of arriving patients.
• Coordinate activities with unit staff and other departments.
• Communicate clearly with health care team, patients, families and visitors.
• Triage and answer calls; assist with concerns and use of MyWall.
• Work under direct supervision and uphold NYULH Core Values.
