Job summary

St. Louis Children's Hospital is seeking an experienced pediatric RN for a full-time role with daytime hours, Monday through Friday.

The RN will coordinate patient care across the continuum and prepare patients and families for procedures in collaboration with the healthcare team. Requires RN license and 2–5 years pediatric experience; nursing diploma/associate's degree is required and a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required.
• 2–5 years pediatric nursing experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitates patient care by assessing and evaluating patient's physical, psychosocial and emotional needs.
• Coordinates the delivery of safe and appropriate patient care governed by evidence-based clinical practice.
• Monitors care and data to optimize patient outcomes.
• Facilitate the education of patients and families. Acts as a resource to the health care team.
• Ensures actions meet and support the overall goals of the business.
