Job summary

St. Louis Children’s Hospital is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department to provide direct patient care on a full-time, 12-hour night shift (7:00 pm – 7:30 am).

The role includes rotating every third weekend and holidays as required by the department, within a designated trauma center that treats thousands of pediatric patients annually. The RN will contribute to patient safety, education, and coordination of care across multidisciplinary teams, while advancing along the BJC RN Career Ladder

Qualifications

• One year RN experience in Emergency Department or pediatric acute care preferred.
• Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Promotes patient- and family-centered care in a healing environment.
• Educates patients and families on illness management and home care needs.
