Job summary

Children's National Medical Center seeks a Transport Lead in the Emergency Transport department to supervise daily clinical operations, coach staff, and participate in rotating administrative calls. You will work under the Transport Clinical Manager to ensure safe, efficient patient transport and 24/7 coverage.

The role requires a DC RN license with BLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications, plus at least five years of nursing experience in pediatric critical or emergency care and one year

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• RN licensed in District of Columbia; BLS, PALS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Clinical Manager to develop and evaluate clinical services, policies and performance standards.
• Oversee 24/7 transport clinical operations and staffing coverage.
• Coordinate transport requests and maintain intake workflows; respond to customer inquiries.
• Provide coaching and performance feedback to Transport staff.
• Promote safety and ensure CNH policy compliance.
