Job summary

Children's Health in Dallas Love Field is seeking a Transport Paramedic for an on-site role within the Patient Transport department. You will be part of a two-person critical care transport team, providing advanced paramedic care during inter-facility transports under supervision and guidance from RN/RT staff.

Qualified candidates will have at least 3 years as a paramedic, Texas EMS licensure, and pediatric experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of paramedic experience.
• Minimum 2 years as Ambulance Operator.
• Minimum 1 year experience in acute care/emergency settings.
• Pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make critical clinical judgments on transport without direct supervision.
• Transport patients by vehicle and coordinate with RN/RT on treatment plans.
• Perform BLS and advanced skills during patient care.
• Document patient care in hospital systems.
