Covenant Children's Hospital is seeking a Flight Paramedic to deliver high-quality care for critically ill or injured patients during air and ground transportation. You will work without direct supervision, perform advanced airway management, and coordinate with physicians when responsible for pediatric transports.

Required are paramedic licenses (Texas), NREMT-P/NRP preferred, and certifications in BLS/ACLS/PALS.

Formación

• Successful completion and maintenance of Department of State Health Services or National Registry approved Paramedic training program/certification/license.
• Texas Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic License - Texas Office of EMS-Trauma Systems.
• Texas Paramedic License - Texas Office of EMS-Trauma Systems.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association.
• National Provider PALS - American Heart Association.

Responsabilidades

• Responsible for delivery of quality care for critically ill or injured in air or ground transportation.
• Interact with physicians and other healthcare facilities as needed.
• Participate in advanced medical treatment modalities as directed by Medical Director and Coordinator of Specialty Transport.
• Assist with continuing education and training of future Flight Paramedics.
