Job summary

Medical City Dallas, part of the HCA Healthcare family, is seeking a Paramedic Transport for PRN shifts to support emergency patient transport and scene responses. You will work with EMS partners to deliver advanced life support and coordinate care from the scene to hospital facilities.

The role requires active Paramedic certification, ACLS/BLS/PALS, and a valid driver's license. You will join a team dedicated to compassionate, patient-centered care and operate within a high-demand transport

Qualifications

Current Paramedic certification and state license.
ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required.
Valid driver's license and completion of the HCA program within 6 months of employment start date.

Responsibilities

Operate emergency medical vehicle and respond to calls for aid in emergent situations.
Evaluate patient condition to establish the right course of treatment.
Provide a variety of emergency medical treatment to injured, sick, or incapacitated persons.
Perform invasive procedures under adverse conditions.
Manage non-medical situations such as crowd control and protecting patient valuables as needed.
Lift and transport patients, ensuring patients remain stable during transport.
Communicate patient data and condition to professional medical personnel at the treatment facility.
