Qualifications

• Must hold State of Ohio EMT Certification and CPR/BLS.
• PALS is preferred at time of hire, but required within four weeks of hire.
• EVOC is preferred at time of hire, but required within two weeks of hire.
• This position requires maintaining a valid Ohio driver’s license and being at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient transportation and basic patient care.
• Report patient responses and assist nursing with care activities.
• Maintain a safe and clean patient care environment.
• Coordinate with staff to meet medical supplies and equipment needs for the unit.
• Protect patient confidentiality and comply with hospital safety policies.
