Job summary

Vanderbilt Health is seeking a Pediatric Transplant APRN/RN to facilitate and coordinate evaluations for transplant candidates and living donors. You will collaborate with physicians and the transplant team to manage care from evaluation through post-operative follow-up.

Responsibilities include educating families about the transplant process, ensuring timely follow-up, and maintaining current best practices in transplant nursing across the care continuum.

Qualifications

• RN with transplant experience preferred.
• Coordinate evaluation processes with physicians and health care professionals.
• Educate patients and families about transplant processes and follow-up care.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates evaluation of transplant candidates and living donors with the team.
• Educates patients and families about evaluation, waiting phases and long-term follow-up.
• Monitors progress and provides clinical management post-transplant and post-donation.
• Keeps referring physicians informed about all phases of transplant care.
