Job summary

Seattle Children’s in Seattle, WA is seeking a Pediatric Transplant Specialist to coordinate referrals, intake, and scheduling within a multidisciplinary pediatric transplant team. You will ensure documentation, authorizations, and CMS/UNOS guidelines, while collaborating with physicians, nurses, social work, and payers to deliver safe, equitable pediatric transplant access.

A Bachelor’s degree and five years’ coordination experience are required; familiarity with CMS/UNOS and process

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Five years of coordination support experience
• Experience with process improvement projects
• Experience convening and facilitating dialogue with diverse stakeholders
• Experience drafting/editing communications and/or reports
• Experience with insurance authorization workflows and data tracking

Responsibilities

• Manage intake, tracking, and coordination of complex transplant referrals
• Schedule and track patient appointments within multidisciplinary teams per UNOS and CMS guidelines
• Ensure complete clinical documentation and regulatory elements are complete and timely
• Support regulatory compliance and audit-ready documentation
• Coordinate with transplant physicians, nurses, social work, finance, and external referring providers
