Qualifications

• BA/BS in a related science or equivalent.
• Basic understanding of immunology.
• Computer proficiency and Excel experience.
• Experience working with human biospecimens.
• Knowledge of basic laboratory techniques: pipetting, preparation of buffers, serial dilutions, chemical weighing and handling.

Responsibilities

• Process biological samples and integrate with the team to store and track them for downstream analysis and scientific inquiry.
• Apply cell culture, human sample processing, biochemical, molecular, and functional genomic techniques.
• Learn to apply new technologies currently being developed.
• Collaborate with UCSF laboratories to support CHAMP program goals.
