Job summary

Blue Bird Day, LLC in Chicago is seeking a Therapeutic Assistant to join our multidisciplinary team serving children aged 2-7 with ASD, ADHD, and related neurodiverse needs. You will help promote cognitive, social, emotional, adaptive, and developmental growth in a play-based clinical setting.

The role involves assisting with therapy activities, supporting group rotations, collaborating with therapists, and maintaining an engaging learning environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree OR completion of at least 60 semester hours of college-level coursework
• Experience working with children or clients with special needs is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 25lbs

Responsibilities

• Assisting with individualized therapy activities and classroom/lesson preparation
• Supporting group therapy rotations
• Collaborating daily with occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, and social workers
• Helping maintain a positive, engaging, play-based learning environment
