Job summary

Boston Children's Hospital is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join the Operating Room team in Needham. The role supports pediatric surgical teams by providing sterile instruments, organizing supplies, and assisting with stock management in a family‑centered perioperative setting.

Shifts are 10 hours with short‑call requirements and a sign-on bonus may apply for eligible candidates. Experience: 1 year in a Surgical Technologist role is preferred; pediatric experience is favored.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year surgical technologist experience preferred.
• Pediatric experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide sterile instruments to surgical teams during surgery.
• Organize and arrange sterile instruments and supplies.
• Collect contaminated items at case completion.
• Assist circulating nurses in maintaining stock of sterile supplies.
• Work in a family-centered peri-operative environment.
• Work 10-hour shifts with short-call requirements.
