Job summary

Children's Healthcare of Atlanta in Atlanta, GA, is seeking a Surgical Technician to assist in providing competent pediatric surgical care. You will support the surgeon and team, operate and maintain surgical equipment, and contribute to a safe operating room environment.

Qualifications

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
Graduation from a recognized surgical technologist program or 5 years of equivalent experience.
One year of experience as a surgical technician.
Experience in a pediatric operating room is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist in providing competent surgical care across pediatric cases.
Support the surgeon and staff with surgical equipment in a safe, efficient manner.
Maintain knowledge of current equipment and supplies.
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team.
Participate in orientation of students and staff.
Support Joint Commission readiness and safety policies.
