Job summary

Sanford Health is seeking a Navigator in Pediatric Surgery and Pediatric Acute Wound Services. You will coordinate care to ensure families receive education and resources for their needs, with a Monday–Friday schedule and no weekends.

A Bachelor's degree in nursing and RN licensure are required, with strong communication skills and a focus on patient-centered care. Join a team of nurses, providers and staff dedicated to improving patient flow and outcomes across the pediatric continuum.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required for the Navigator role.
• RN license with state board requirement (or multi-state licensure).
• Minimum two years of clinical experience preferred.
• Strong communication and care coordination skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care with the healthcare team to ensure timely sequencing of care.
• Enhance patient flow and interdisciplinary communication.
• Support patients and families by removing barriers to care.
• Evaluate outcomes using clinical, financial and utilization data.
• Use nursing judgment and age-appropriate care protocols in pediatrics.
• Serve as a link between providers, clinics, insurance, and facilities.
