Role Purpose

Under supervision of a registered technologist, performs imaging procedures on pediatric patients for diagnosis and treatment. Must be currently enrolled in an imaging program.

Responsibilities

1. Assist technologists with imaging procedures; students require direct supervision in surgery.
2. Escort or transport patients to and from examination areas, assist with patient transfers, and support patient needs.
3. Help outpatients complete necessary information for procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Enrollment in 2nd Year Radiology Program
