Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Under supervision of a registered technologist, performs imaging procedures on adult and pediatric patients for diagnosis and treatment of disorders. Must be currently enrolled in an imaging program. In Illinois, follows IEMA guidelines.

Responsibilities
  • Assists the technologist with imaging procedures. Students require direct supervision in surgery.
  • Transports patients to and from examination areas, assists with patient transfers to imaging tables, and helps patients as needed.
  • Helps outpatients complete necessary information for procedures.
