Job summary

The Supervisor of Central Service at MultiCare Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital & Health Network oversees the Sterile Processing Department, ensuring instruments are cleaned, sterilized, and assembled to required standards while leading a dedicated team across shifts.

Requires an associate degree or equivalent experience, with preferred Central Processing Technician certification and supervisory healthcare experience; night shift with on-call as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or two years of related experience accepted.
• Central Processing Technician course preferred.
• Sterile Processing Technician/Manager certification preferred (IAHCSMM or CBSPD).
• Minimum three years in Central Processing.
• Prior supervisory/lead experience in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff and develop the CSSD team.
• Ensure cleaning, sterilization, and assembly per standards.
• Maintain high quality and inter-department collaboration.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission and state/federal regulations.
