Job summary

MultiCare Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital & Health Network in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Sterile Processing Supervisor to oversee the Sterile Processing Department. You will supervise personnel, manage inventories, and ensure sterilization quality.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum five years of experience in acute care hospital environment with sterule processing or operating room preferred.
• CRCST certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for safety and quality of sterilization procedures.
• Directs and assigns work to auxiliary personnel.
• Maintains proper functioning of instruments and equipment; coordinates repair when needed.
• Leads staff in quality improvement and strategic initiatives.
• Participates in hiring, interviewing and disciplinary action in coordination with Department Manager.
