Job summary

Mary Bridge Children's Hospital & Health Network in Tacoma, WA is seeking a Central Service Technician to support the health care team by cleaning, sterilizing, and packaging instruments, maintaining inventory, and transporting supplies.

This full-time role (FTE 1.0) has Day shift hours from 10AM to 10PM, Saturday through Monday. Qualifications include a High School diploma or equivalent, CST training or equivalent, and certification within one year. Prior related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Completion of Central Service Technician course or healthcare training program.
• Military training or experience may satisfy WA state requirements.
• Certification as Central Service Technician or commitment to obtain within one year.
• Minimum one year of related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sterilize and package instruments for use in patient care.
• Maintain instrument and supply inventories.
• Transport supplies and equipment as needed.
• Work as part of a team under direct supervision and prioritize daily tasks.
