Job summary

The Pediatric Transplant and Cellular Therapy (CIT) team within the Division of Pediatric Hematology Oncology at CHoR, part of the Virginia Commonwealth University Health System, invites applications for a pediatric bone marrow transplant physician.

You will join a multi-disciplinary team providing care for new and existing patients, with opportunities for teaching, clinical research, and participation in gene therapy and CAR-T programs.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.
• Ability to work in an environment of respect, professionalism, and civility across diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• TEACHING: Faculty member will have teaching responsibilities in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology, mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows.
• RESEARCH: Participate in clinical, translational, and outcomes research relevant to the division.
• SERVICE: Participate in departmental, hospital, or School of Medicine committees and professional activities.
• CLINICAL: Serve as a pediatric bone marrow transplant physician for the Department of Pediatrics within the Division of Pediatric Hematology Oncology.
