Job summary

The Division of Pediatric Gastroenterology at CHoR/VCU Health seeks a full-time BC/BE pediatric hepatologist to join a multidisciplinary team delivering expert clinical care, research, and education for infants, children, and teens. The role includes clinical service, teaching, and mentorship within a growing pediatric transplantation core.

Affiliation with the VCU School of Medicine and collaboration across departments are available, with focus on scholarly activity and patient-centered care in

Qualifications

Board certification/eligibility in pediatrics.
Board-certified/eligible in pediatric gastroenterology.
Board-certified/eligible in pediatric transplant hepatology.
Experience in both pediatric hepatology and transplantation.
Experience educating residents and medical students.

Responsibilities

Teaching: provide hepatology instruction to residents and fellows.
Research: advance clinical, translational, or basic research with mentors.
Service: participate in department and School of Medicine committees.
Clinical: deliver high-quality pediatric GI hepatology care within CHoR/VCU Health.
