Job summary

The University of Chicago's Department BSD PED - Hematology, Oncology, and Stem Cell Transplantation seeks an Advanced Practice Provider to deliver expert clinical care to children with complex hematologic, oncologic, and transplant-related conditions. The APP performs comprehensive assessments, develops care plans, and coordinates treatment across inpatient and outpatient settings.

Qualifications

• College or university degree required.
• Master's degree from an accredited NP program preferred.
• Current Illinois RN licensure/registration required.
• National certification as Pediatric NP expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced clinical care for complex hematology/oncology patients.
• Coordinate inpatient and outpatient transplant-related care.
• Perform stem cell infusion and daily rounds.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and researchers.
• Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and education for staff.
