Job summary

Therapy 2000 is seeking a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist Assistant to join our mission-driven team providing home-based therapy for children in Texas. You will administer Speech Therapy under a supervising SLP, develop caregiver-involved home programs, and collaborate with healthcare providers to support each child’s growth.

The role requires 3+ years of pediatric SLPA experience in a home-health setting, strong reliability, and adaptability.

Qualifications

3+ years as pediatric Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA).
Experience in a home-health setting.
Reliability and adaptability to changing needs of the business.

Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive Speech Therapy treatments under Supervising Speech Language Pathologist goals and treatment plans.
Develop home exercise programs in partnership with patients’ caregivers.
Act as a vital member of patients’ medical neighborhoods, coordinating care between providers and disciplines.
Complete a minimum number of patient visits weekly as required by the agency.
Meet deadlines for chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and paperwork.
Meet with agency personnel to maintain understanding of expectations and standards for high-quality care.
Perform all duties in accordance with agency policies and applicable laws.
