Job summary

The Therapy Place NJ seeks an experienced, licensed Speech Therapist to join our team. You will meet with new patients, assess speech needs, and create personalized treatment plans to help clients reach their goals.

You will document care, observe and participate in treatment, and adjust goals as needed for optimal outcomes. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of speech pathology, provides compassionate care, and demonstrates excellent organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Active state license to practice speech therapy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with basic computer programs such as the Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Meet with patients for initial evaluation and questions.
• Create and adjust individualized treatment plans with short and long-term goals.
• Assist in implementing treatment plans and monitor progress.
• Maintain thorough records of patient needs, care, and outcomes.
