Responsibilities
  • Provide In-Home Pediatric Therapy Services: Deliver skilled speech-language therapy to pediatric patients in their homes, including comprehensive assessments, development and implementation of individualized care plans, and patient/family education to promote communication, cognitive, and swallowing function.

  • Collaborate with Interdisciplinary Teams: Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, and outcome-driven therapy aligned with the pediatric patient’s plan of care.

  • Ensure Accurate Documentation and Compliance: Maintain timely and compliant documentation, participate in quality assurance activities, and uphold professional standards related to home health regulations, pediatric care, and infection control procedures.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Master's degree in speech-language pathology

Experience:

  • One year experience caring for a similar patient population as to be assigned.

License(s)/Certification(s):

  • Licensed as a speech-language pathologist by the state(s) where services are provided.
    • If the state does not require an SLP license: completion of 350 clock hours of supervised clinical practicum; 9 months of supervised full-time speech-language pathology services after obtaining a master's or doctoral degree; and passing the national examination in speech-language pathology approved by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
  • Valid licensed driver with automobile insurance in accordance with state(s) and/or organizational requirements.
  • Mandatory Reporter: Child + Dependent Adult Abuse
  • CPR: Maintain a valid Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider Card with Re-certification.
