Cook Children's Medical Center seeks a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide in-patient and/or out-patient services focused on functional skills to enhance development and restore function for pediatric patients.

Evaluations and home programming cover feeding, swallowing, articulation, voice, resonance, fluency and language disorders, with aural rehabilitation options and assistive communication device assessments.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in speech-language pathology.
• Pediatric experience preferred.
• BLS certification within 30 days of employment.
• State license or eligible for state licensure.
• CCC-SLP or eligible for application upon CFY and within 12 months to maintain employment.

Aufgaben

• Provide in-patient and/or out-patient speech-language pathology services.
• Evaluate, treat and provide home programming for feeding and swallowing, articulation, voice, resonance, fluency, and language disorders.
• Provide aural rehabilitation/auditory verbal therapy for hearing loss or cochlear implant.
• Perform evaluations for augmentative communication devices.
• Educate patients and caregivers and consult with other professionals and clinics within Cook Children's Health Care System.
