Job summary

Pediatric Specialty Care at Lancaster is seeking a Speech Therapist / Speech Language Pathologist to support children with communication, feeding, and swallowing needs in a medically supported, family-centered setting.

In this role you will conduct evaluations, develop treatment plans, collaborate with families and care teams, and document progress, with a focus on functional outcomes and quality of life for pediatric patients.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current unencumbered Pennsylvania PA license as a Speech Therapist.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
  • CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Pediatric experience preferred; medically complex or long-term care experience a plus.
  • Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, and implement pediatric speech therapy services in accordance with clinical, regulatory, and facility standards.
  • Conduct evaluations, screenings, and ongoing therapy for speech, language, feeding, and swallowing needs.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans with measurable, functional goals.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, nursing, and interdisciplinary team members to support each child's communication and safety.
  • Recommend and train on adaptive equipment, feeding strategies, and AAC tools as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge planning.
  • Participate in quality assurance, education, and performance improvement initiatives.
