GREEN APPLE LLC is seeking a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist/SLPA to support families in the Hurst/Euless/Bedford area. The position is part-time and based in the DFW division, with responsibilities in evaluating, planning and coordinating care for pediatric patients.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, develop home exercise programs, and ensure documentation accuracy while adhering to regulatory guidelines for home-health services.

Qualifications

• Current active Texas Speech Language Pathology license.
• Innovative, reliable with an ability to adapt priorities.
• Proficient with common workplace technology (laptop, phone, email, browser).
• Home-health pediatric experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive Speech Therapy evaluations using standardized tests.
• Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physician orders.
• Create home exercise programs with caregivers.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate care.
• Complete required patient visits weekly and maintain charts.
• Meet deadlines for progress notes, logs and summaries.
• Follow agency policies and home-health regulations.

Job Location: Hurst - Hurst, TX 76022

Position Type: Part Time

THERAPY 2000, a home-based provider of pediatric Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapy services, has an exciting opportunity for a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist/SLPA to serve families in the Hurst/Euless/Bedford area. This position is based in our DFW division and is Part-time.

What you’ll do:

• Perform comprehensive Speech Therapy evaluations, using standardized tests to determine patients’ needs for therapy.
• Use your clinical judgment to develop and implement relevant treatment plans aligned with physicians’ orders.
• Develop home exercise programs in partnership with patients’ caregivers.
• Act as a vital member of your patients’ medical neighborhoods, collaborating and coordinating care between various providers and disciplines.
• Complete a minimum number of patient visits on a weekly basis as required by the agency.
• Meet deadlines for completion of patient chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and all other paperwork as needed.
• Meet with agency personnel as necessary to maintain understanding of expectations and standards related to delivering high-quality patient care.
• Perform all duties in compliance with agency policies and procedures.
• Adhere to all rules, regulations, codes of ethics, guidelines and federal, state and local laws applicable to home-health pediatric speech language pathology.

Qualifications

• A current/active license to practice Speech Language Pathology in the state of Texas.
• An innovative spirit complemented by a demonstrated history of reliability.
• Flexibility to shift resources and priorities as necessary, based on the needs of the business.
• Ability to use common workplace technology (laptop computer, phone, email, web browser).

Bonus points for:

• 3+ years as a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist
• Experience in a home-health setting.
• Experience or certifications in feeding therapy or other clinical specialties (VitalStim, SOFFI, SOS, etc.)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
