Job summary

THERAPY 2000, a home-based provider of pediatric Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapy services, seeks a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to serve families in Longview, TX. The role is based in our East Texas division and focuses on delivering high-quality patient care in the home setting.

You will perform evaluations, develop treatment plans, and work with caregivers to implement home exercise programs while collaborating with physicians and providers to ensure integrated care.

Qualifications

• Active Texas SLP license or eligible to practice in Texas.
• Flexible, reliable, and able to manage caseloads across home visits.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive speech therapy assessments using standardized tests.
• Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physician orders.
• Create home exercise programs with caregivers.
• Collaborate with medical teams to coordinate care.
• Meet weekly patient visit quotas and complete chart updates.
• Maintain compliance with policies, ethics, and laws for home-health SLP.

Job Location: Longview - Longview, TX

THERAPY 2000, a home-based provider of pediatric Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapy services, has an exciting opportunity for a Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist to serve families in Longview. This position is based in our East Texas division.

What you’ll do:

• Perform comprehensive Speech Therapy evaluations, using standardized tests to determine patients’ needs for therapy.
• Use your clinical judgment to develop and implement relevant treatment plans aligned with physicians’ orders.
• Develop home exercise programs in partnership with patients’ caregivers.
• Act as a vital member of your patients’ medical neighborhoods, collaborating and coordinating care between various providers and disciplines.
• Complete a minimum number of patient visits on a weekly basis as required by the agency.
• Meet deadlines for completion of patient chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and all other paperwork as needed.
• Meet with agency personnel as necessary to maintain understanding of expectations and standards related to delivering high-quality patient care.
• Perform all duties in compliance with agency policies and procedures.
• Adhere to all rules, regulations, codes of ethics, guidelines and federal, state and local laws applicable to home-health pediatric speech language pathology.

What you’ll need:

• A current/active license to practice Speech Language Pathology in the state of Texas.
• An innovative spirit complemented by a demonstrated history of reliability.
• Flexibility to shift resources and priorities as necessary, based on the needs of the business.
• Ability to use common workplace technology (laptop computer, phone, email, web browser).

Bonus points for:

• 3+ years as a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist
• Experience in a home-health setting.
• Experience or certifications in feeding therapy or other clinical specialties (VitalStim, etc.)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
